Keswick Mountain Festival line-up announcedEvents
Keswick Mountain Festival has announced its full line-up and it’s set to be the biggest yet. Running from 19-22 May, the festival presents a mix of live music, sporting events, outdoor adventures, high profile speakers, camping and family friendly activities. The beautiful shores of Derwentwater, on the edge of Keswick, provide the main base.
The sporting and outdoor events programme is the biggest in its history. It includes triathlons, trail runs, open water swims, cycling and mountain biking. The Hike programme features a wide range of guided walks for all levels of fitness and ability. Gorge and ghyll scrambling, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding, and wild camping are also on offer for outdoor enthusiasts.
The music line-up headliners are Scouting for Girls, Toploader and Björn Again with support from The Soul Rays, Holy Moly & The Crackers, The Peatbog Faeries, Annemarie Quinn, Sound of the Sirens and Thingumabob and Thingumajigs.
There’s also an extensive family programme with a wide range of taster activities for all ages, including tree climbing, mud pie making, den building, caving and a ‘clip and climb’ tower. Visitors will also be inspired by a full schedule of talks in the Adventure Tipi, visit the village’s many exhibitors, and enjoy a range of festival food and drink.
Keswick Mountain Festival even has its own campsite with great facilities and only a few minutes’ walk from the Festival Village.
