Email Newsletters
We know that everyone is busy, and nobody likes their email inbox cluttered up with junk mail. We will only send you email newsletters if you choose to receive them from us. Typically we will send one email per week and you have the option to unsubscribe from our email newsletters at any time. We do not share your email address with anyone else. No personal details or email addresses are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website or those working on their behalf.
Email marketing campaigns published by Sidetracked may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity.
Ordering from Sidetracked
We use Big Cartel to process our online transactions within our shop. Big Cartel is a long established and trusted service with stringent data security and privacy practices in place.
When you order products through our online store, we will ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to ship product, contact or identify you (“Personal Data”).
Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

• First name and last name
• Phone number
• Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City, Country

Third-Party Payment Processors
We use two, third party payment processors, Stripe and Paypal for all payments. Sidetracked does not store credit card details and instead relies on Stripe and Paypal for this. We use these third party payment processors to process payments made to us.
In processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third party processors, Stripe and Paypal, whose use of your personal information is governed by their own privacy policies, which may be viewed at https://www.stripe.com/us/privacy and https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
DISCLOSURES OF YOUR INFORMATION:
When ordering from our online store you are consenting to the disclosure of your personal information to our fulfillment partners who have sufficiently robust processes in place to ensure the security of your personal information whilst it is in their care. This includes our fulfillment partner, JG Palmer LLP trading under the name ‘Newsstand’ – who are GDPR compliant and who we share customer order mailing information with, where we strictly use password-encrypted spreadsheets. We will never pass on your personal data to anyone else, except for any successors to our business or companies who work on our behalf. We may also use and disclose information in aggregate (so that no individual customers are personally identified) for marketing and strategic development purposes.
