Creating space for Olympic athletes to pause, recover, and stay present.

The Olympic Winter Games are defined by speed, precision, and years of relentless focus. But between the starts and finishes, there is a quieter side to competition. Through its TIME CERO initiative, Corona Cero is creating space for athletes to pause, reconnect with nature, and experience the moments that exist beyond the pursuit of medals.

When Arianna Fontana crossed the finish line in the women’s 3000m relay on Wednesday, February 18, her latest silver medal made her Italy’s most decorated Olympian in front of a home crowd. After the event, she said: ‘It’s incredible, I’m just filled with joy.’

Matt Weston, a 28-year-old from Surrey, hurtled down the Cortina track on a skeleton sled, reaching the bottom 0.88 seconds ahead of Alex Jungk to win gold. A few days later, he did with Tabitha Stoecker for his second gold, this time in the mixed team skeleton competition.

The Olympics, Summer and Winter, stir something in the viewers, in the trainers, in the participants, unlike any other sporting event. The relentless pursuit of greatness these athletes have been thinking about every single day for four years is tangible. It’s moving, for those who crash out, sometimes in spectacular style, those who overcome the odds of life – personal challenges, geopolitical – just to compete and those who reach the podium. The Olympics bring out the best in everyone. Arianna’s gold, Matt’s gold and in fact every medal in the Olympic Winter Games is a moment of joy.

Before the Olympic Winter Games, Matt and Arianna, alongside a dozen or so athletes, became part of Corona Cero’s roster of brand ambassadors. Their role is to champion TIME CERO, an initiative created in partnership with the IOC and Athlete365, designed to help them relax, stay present, and embrace balance amid the intensity of competition.

The TIME CERO initiative kicked off with Team Corona Cero ambassadors signing the brand’s Relaxation Clause: a commitment that ensures all partners prioritise downtime, recovery, and presence throughout the Olympic Winter Games.

At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Corona Cero developed one-of-a-kind spaces for athletes to connect with nature. The team ramped up further at Milano Cortina 2026, introducing relaxation zones across the Olympic Villages for all athletes to use.

The Relaxation Zone in Milan and Cortina is a calm, plant-filled spaces where athletes can unwind or take part in guided relaxation moments, including sound bathing, breathwork workshops, yoga classes, and even sunset DJ-led sessions, designed to restore balance beyond performance. There is even a Cero Stress Plant Shop where athletes can adopt and name a plant to bring nature into their room and create a calming atmosphere. And to celebrate the games, every participant can engrave their own Golden Bottle inside the Athlete Villages.

Fans can also enjoy the Winter Olympic Games experience at Corona Cero Mountain Resort, which is based at Lac Salin Spa & Mountain Resort in the Livigno valley. During the games, Corona Cero has transformed the location into a natural oasis, hosting sunset DJ sessions and offering a natural snow spa, as well as a place to come together at the fire kitchen. Milan and Livigno are also home to a Casa Corona, an athlete’s lounge, celebration space, bar and restaurant. A glance at the agenda reveals a vinyl session and guided journey of breath and sound at TIME CERO BPM.

TIME CERO reflects something I truly believe in: slowing down, staying present, and appreciating the moments that happen along the way are just as important as the competition itself.’

For Every Golden Moment

TIME CERO is part of Corona Cero’s For Every Golden Moment platform that reminds people ‘reminding people that meaningful golden moments can happen anytime, anywhere, or in any season’.
